C-48 – An Act to amend the Criminal Code (bail reform)
C-48 was, by unanimous consent, skipped straight through its Second Reading, the committee hearings, and its Third Reading and sent to the Senate. Remember that unanimous consent requires everyone to approve of the action, even one person opposed to it can block it, so it looks like everyone’s happy with C-48.
