C-330 – An Act to amend the Canada Labour Code (successor rights and obligations — airports) – outlines how labour contracts are handled when a new airport authority takes control of an airport.

A quick note here, airport authorities are just the companies that are responsible for running and maintaining airports.

The details here are nice and simple. Any certifications held by trade unions from the previous authority need to be respected by the new one. The new authority also needs to respect any terms or conditions of employment, rights, and privileges held by employees of the previous authority. (So no firing all the old staff and replacing them)

C-330 is outside of the Order of Precedence.
