C-297 – An Act to amend the Canada Elections Act (Indigenous languages) – supports the use of Indigenous languages at election stations.

C-297 changes the Elections Canada Act so ballots provided on Indigenous lands include the local Indigenous languages in addition to English and French. When voting with a mail-in ballot you’ll also have the option to get that ballot in an Indigenous language as well.
