Debate continued on Bill C-30 – Cost of Living Relief Act, No. 1 (Targeted Tax Relief) and Bill C-31 – Cost of Living Relief Act, No. 2 (Targeted Support for Households) As a quick reminder, C-30 would increase the GST/HST rebates people get for the 2022-2023 tax year. C-31 would create a temporary benefit to cover dental expenses for children in low-income families, and provide a one-time benefit to low-income individuals to help with rent.

Lots happened yesterday with a pair of government Bills being introduced as well as a pair of older Bills being discussed New Bills We have a pair of related Bills that came up, the first of which is C-30 – Cost of Living Relief Act, No. 1 (Targeted Tax Relief).
