C-296 – Respecting Families of Murdered and Brutalized Persons Act – greatly increases the punishment for anyone who kidnaps, sexually assaults, and murders a victim.
Anyone found guilty of all three crimes committed against the same victim will automatically be sentenced to life in prison with no option for parole for at least 25 years.
