| This post is about a previous Session of Parliament. Any legislation here that did not receive Royal Assent has been terminated. |
C-409 – The Fairness for Flight Attendants Act – changes how work hours are calculated for flight attendants.
Under this Act any time spent performing pre- or post-flight duties counts as time worked, along with any time spent on mandatory training. A flight attendant’s hours will also include any time spent on-call, even if there’s a delay that’s outside of their employer’s control. Finally, this Act prevents the government from passing any regulations that would limit when these changes are applied.

C-409 is currently outside of the Order of Precedence.
