C-224 declares that natural health products are not therapeutic and as such won’t be subject to the same regulations as other drugs.

What is C-224? – National Framework on Cancers Linked to Firefighting Act
C-224 would develop a framework to raise awareness about cancers linked to firefighting, and improve access for firefighters to prevention and treatment. It would also declare January “Firefighter Cancer Awareness Month”.
