Pierre Poilievre’s motion to cancel the carbon tax increase was rejected. The Committee on Agriculture recommended measures to boost Canada’s food processing and the Finance Committee opposed the RBC-HSBC merger. Bills C-355 and C-321 advanced.

C-321 would make it so assaulting a healthcare worker or first responder results in stricter sentencing.
