C-201 – An Act to amend the Canada Health Act (mental, addictions and substance use health services) – makes it so provincial health insurance would need to cover mental health, addiction, and substance use services.
Not a lot to say about this one, it’s pretty straightforward. Just add mental health, addiction, and substance use services to the list of insured services and you’re done. Only real thing of note is that this includes services provided in a community setting.
