C-217 – the Post-Secondary Education Financial Assistance for Persons with Disabilities Act – would pay the post-secondary tuition for people with disabilities.

This one’s simple enough, if you qualify for the disability tax credit then you’ll qualify for a grant to cover your post-secondary education. The idea here is that people with disabilities can have a harder time affording a post-secondary education which can prevent them from getting jobs that can accommodate their disabilities. The money paid will be considered a grant, and the government will have the ability to make regulations around the conditions that will need to be met before any payments are made, and none of this money will be considered income.
