What is C-271? – St. Lawrence River Capacity and Protection Act
C-271 designates the St. Lawrence River a natural person, giving it legal rights.
What is C-372? – Fossil Fuel Advertising Act
C-372 makes it illegal to misrepresent the environmental impact of fossil fuels in advertising.
What is C-379? – The Combating Motor Vehicle Theft Act
C-379 increases the minimum sentence for a third offence of car theft.
What is C-359? – Feeds, Seeds, and Pest Control
C-359 lets the government temporarily approve feeds, seeds, and pest control products if at least two trusted jurisdictions have approved them.
What is C-340? – The Canada Pharmacare Act
C-340 sets up a system that has the federal government reimburse provinces for their pharmacare programs as long as certain conditions are met.

Hello everyone! So it turns out I don’t like the Tuesday/Wednesday/Friday schedule. We’re going to return to Monday/Wednesday/Friday, but we’ll be posting the weekly summaries later in the day on Mondays instead of in the morning.

C-325 would block people convicted of certain crimes from serving their sentence in the community.

C-215 would increase the amount of time someone can claim EI from 15 weeks to 52.
What is C-328? – The Student Debt Relief Act
C-328 – The Student Debt Relief Act – would have the Minister of Employment and Social Development create a national strategy for reducing student debt.
